Can someone explain....

I dont understand how 1 show can end up on the side of the road?? Just 1 shoe...

Dont you know when you lose a shoe? Wouldnt you walk around funny the rest of the day? I mean, I think it would be noticeable...right?

I was driving to work yesterday and on the side of the road, there was a SHOE.. a lonely.. worn..black...shoe!

Which led me wonder..and ponder.. HOW did it get there? WHO did it belong too? WHAT story lived in that shoe?

Could we take it to the nearest CSI lab and have it analyzed and get the DNA out of it and find out who it belonged too and return it to its owner. What if there was a reward for the 1 lost shoe?

Hmmmmpf!!

Ohh the things that spark your imagination.

On or about July 4, 1996, a white leather Keds sneaker, size 8, was hurled from the passenger seat of a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville, which was traveling South on Highway 35W in front off the Cliff Road exit in Burnsville, Minnesota. Immediately prior to the hurling, a brief conversation took place:

Pat: Do you smell that?
Suzi: Smell what?
Pat: That. It smells like hunch.
Suzi: Ah, geez. It's on my shoe! Gross!

So I just assume that all shoes on the side of the road belong to people who stepped in poop. By the way, the aforementioned shoe lived happily on the shoulder of Highway 35W until spring of 1997, almost an entire year. We honked at it each time we passed.
